Flamenco Bulerias

On this page there will be some explanation of several Flamenco rythms. In Flamenco many times “golpes” are used to give accent to the rythm of the particular dances. With the ringfinger you tab on the guitar. Check the video.

Bulerias is known because of its fast rythm. The “compas” is divided in 12 beats

Its accents are on the 3rd 6th 8th 10th and 12th beat. The Golpes in the video are used to give accent to these beats. Watch carefully the videos. Practice slowly so you become familiar with the rythm. You can allways use a metronome to increase the beats per minute to build up speed.
